Can stress make your veins hurt?

I have been under a lot of stress these few months, and I notice everytime I get angry-sad-frustrated my chest hurts and my veins start to hurt as well — sometimes more than usual. Now, I didnt think of it much at first and just brushed it away as the effects of chronic stress or anxiety because I also always get headaches (a doctor gave me propanolol — it helped, I only took one or two pills and stopped because my migraines stopped. now theyre back, but i dont take those pills anymore, i just let it be because it comes and goes) and tingling on my fingers. But what I have noticed is that sometimes my veins hurt for no reason, even when im feeling completely normal, though the pain doesnt last long. Sometimes it feels like its being squeezed, other times its like I have a papercut, but when I look at it its simply just a few veins bulging ever so slightly (it usually only bulges when it hurts, and the color would pop out more as well — when it stops hurting, after a while, it doesnt bulge...) Ive also noticed that as days pass the short sudden pain comes more frequently and the veins are appearing on my palm and my forearm. I have dark skin, and before this my veins werent so emphasized. Is this a side effect from stress / anxiety? Is there anything I can do to change this? I feel like a visit to the doctor just for this would be pointless though...
