Vaginal bleeding after sex?

I’m a 31 year old married mother of two and for the past few months I’ve Noticed that I’ve started bleeding after sex and only noticed when I went pee after and there were a few drops of blood in the toilet and blood that covered the TP.
The bright red blood and I don’t have pain during sex either.
I went to the gyno for this reason and had an exam and got my yearly pap and everything was fine? She said I may have cervical ectropian or a friable cervix. So I went and got a second opinion and saw another gyno who did an exam and said she didn’t see either of those things? I’m now scheduled for an u/s on Wednesday and I can’t help but to worry uncontroably.

Everything online says it’s cancer- whether it be uterine or endometrial. I’m just terrified. Has anyone else had this happen?? I also have hypothyroidism- idk if that matters.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Just an update but my hormone levels from my yearly thyroid check came back completely regular and normal.. as did my transvaginal u/s. So, here I am back to square one. It’s incredibly frustrating that a cause for this cannot be determined.

I've read it may change the lining and can make it like 'chapped lips' (that was THEIR term, lol).  Another option is to have your hormones checked.  If you are low on estrogen, this can happen as well.

I have an appointment with my endocrinologist on Wednesday after the u/s. I’ve been feeling like my levels have been off for a while so we shall see. I’m praying that’s what it is. I have two girls and a husband I love very much and am terrified of not being around for them.
Ahh, I feel confident that this is not something serious hon.  Let me know how the appointment goes, okay?
So the U/S showed no abnormalities- which doesn’t help in finding an answer.. and I haven’t gotten the results of my endo appointmet yet.
Geez, that's annoying!  I'm sure you just want to know what is going on.  But that's also good they didn't see anything!  (I think? lol).  Hopefully the endo will be more enlightening.  Let me know

Okay.  So, I would say that this is almost better that it is ONLY associated with orgasm.  Are you on BC such as depo?  I've read that women can bleed with orgasm when this is the case?

I had been on Junel (combo pill) since 2014 and for many years before that but have come off BC a month ago thinking that’s what was causing it but it’s still happening :-(

Try not to worry.  It is doubtful that is cancer at your age.  The odds are against that.  And believe it or not, this is not a terribly uncommon problem as many women do have post coitus bleeding.  So, how is your lubrication?  Hypothyroidism can affect hormones and vaginal dryness can happen.  That as a chronic problem could cause some bleeding when you have intercourse.  You say they found no evidence of polyps?  I'm not sure if that is something they checked for but they are benign but can cause bleeding.  Most women do have polyps removed with the fear being that maybe down the road they 'could' turn cancerous.  But they are soft little lumps and can causer bleeding.  You could also simply have inflammation of the cervix.  The cervix is very vascular and WILL bleed.

I guess that if I were you, I'd continue to ask questions.  If this is still happening 3 months from now, a third opinion?

I truly don’t think it’s a lunrication problem as it most happens after orgasm. If I don’t “get off” I don’t see blood.
