How can I be estrogen dominant after a hysterectomy?

Due to severe adnomyosis I had to have a hysterectomy a year ago. I have no ovaries and why the doctor left my clamped tubs, I have no idea. I did not realize they were there until I had to have an abdominal/pelvic CAT scan. My body is turning everything into estrogen, leading to my body becoming estrogen dominant even taking progesterone 200mg 2x a day. I am retaining 20-30lbs of fluid and I am in my late 30’s. Has anyone else had this issue?

I assume you had blood work done to determine your estrogen level? What is it? Do you possibly have endometriosis (endo)? Endo implants produce estrogen. Fat cells produce estrogen too so if you're overweight that could explain it.
