IUD Removal, will it complicate TTC?

Hi, I am 32 years old and I had my Paragard removed yesterday because my husband and I are wanting to have another baby. I've had the Paragard for 11 years so I am wondering if we should wait to try or if we can go ahead and try now? I've had 4 other children, all healthy babies without any complications during pregnancy, and my paps and pelvic exams have never had anything abnormal.

IUD removal does sometimes cause some stalling in TTC.  That would not be uncommon.  If you start getting a regular cycle right away, you're good to go.  But otherwise, it may take a couple of months to get 'normalized' again. Let us know how it goes.  So, you want baby number 5 now?  :>)
