Is brown discharge normal after tubel ligation

I have my procedure done about 2 weeks ago and had finished my period 2 days before surgery and after surgery was done I bled for 4 days and had 5 days break and now have dark brown vaginal discharge that requires wearing a pad no smell to it either but am very concerned on what may be causing this as this is not normal I'm heading to my gp tomorrow hopefully for some answers but am hoping someone can help answer my question I also have cramps aswell that feel like period cramping

Brown just means the blood is not "fresh but has been there a bit longer so it may have come from the surgery and just taken long time to exit

If it was only two weeks ago, I would imagine some of this has to do with you healing up- but it's good you are going to see your doctor and get some answers.  If the discharge switches over to bleeding- you need to call the doctor right away and let them know.
