High liver enzymes after cosmetic surgery

In the last two, years,my liver enzymes, have been fine, with the exception of a mildly elevated ALT in June 2018 which went back to normal  by the end of July 2018 after I cut back on eating at night and exercised more). Beginning August 13,2018  I started taking preop vitamins and minerals and Bromelain in anticipation of cosmetic surgery that I had on August 27.  After the surgery I continued with post op vitamins, bromelain, some Hydrocodone with acetamin, a little Valium, and a weeks worth of an antibiotic, cephadroxil. Finished, that a week ago and now done with those meds. My doc wanted to recheck,my ALT and AST so I had blood work,  remember my surgery was a little over 2 weeks ago. Both ALT and AST WERE QUITE ELEVATED- 116 and 69. My doc was quite concerned which upset me. Getting ultrasound tomorrow. My question is, couldn’t all of these vitamins and minerals and supplements, antibiotics, anesthesia all have caused a spike in my liver enzymes which were normal in July 2018? I don’t drink at all, eat well, lots of fruits and veggies, no fast food, etc. had negative hep C test earlier this year.

Your medication and vitamins could be causing high enzymes. however, maybe he sees other signs that say he should take things further, Better safe than sorry.
