What is the prognosis of basal ganglia stroke

My mum got right sided basal ganglia stroke in march this year,  her left sided is paralyzed untill now,  she can manage to stand and walk with lots of difficulty,  her blood pressure has been high

The important thing is doing as much as you can in that first year.  Does she do physical therapy and occupational therapy now?  She should do it as much as possible as this is the best time to 'recover' impairment lost during the stroke.  How old is she if you don't mind me asking.
