Is this a UTI or ovarian cyst?

I like to make sure before I go to the doctor, but, I recently went off birth control (started at 14, I'm now 18 because they suggested I get off once graduating high school) for a small ovarian cyst giving me irritation. When I was 14 I got pain when urinating (not burning pee, lower abdominal pain) and occasionally intense stabbing pains where ovaries are located. Now 18, nearly a month off birth control, I am getting bad abdominal pain, and pain near my ovaries. I'm also urinating rather frequently but my pee doesn't burn or anything weird. Could this be my cysts that were covered up by being on the pill? Could this be worsened cysts? Withdraw from the pill ? (Not really getting any withdraw bleeding or any symptoms, plus this started a couple weeks post pill). Is this just a UTI that was caused getting of the pill? Please let me know so I know if I should schedule an ultrasound or just buy some cranberry juice from the store.

It's hard to say what it is. It wouldn't hurt to get some cranberry juice or AZO (cranberry) pills and see if it goes away. But if it doesn't resolve, you should have it checked out.
