what causes belly button pulling pain?

I had similar problem for over 20  years now and doctors could not get the solution. But I notice something whenever I applied aboniki ointment to the pain site the pain  will go immediately and come back the following year. this is how I have been managing it for almost 10 years now and there were no complications.

You apply a cheap holistic balm once a year and it relives the pain for a year? My suggestion? buy a 3 dollar chapstick bottle that'll last 60-80 years and slather that bad boy up! Can't beat a 5 dollar purchase that'll last forever and works! Something to help belly button pulling pain other than that? A couple hernie surgeries and that belly button will be gone!

I don't really know what you are talking about.  describe the pain. And can't think of why any ointment would solve the internal issue.  Could it be psychological?  Just asking because that is along time for one bit of ointment to recover a situation---  coming back a year later.
