Hydrocortisone and Eumovate has thinned my penis skin and scrotum.

I went to my GP with a small red area of inflammation on the tip of my penis. The doctor immediately just gave me Daktacort antifungal with 1% hydrocortisone. He told me to apply twice a day for 14 days, he said to use it anywhere else that itched. I didn’t even think of the side effects and used it on the groin, scrotum and penis. I only used for 10 days as I was getting burning sensation and penis felt like it was getting worse. About 4 weeks later, I started noticing that the skin all over the genitals looked thin and red. I left it for a few months but was starting to really worry me so I went to visit a dermatologist. The dermatologist claimed there was no thinning (just using his eyes) and told me that I should use Eumovate on my testicles... I was apprehensive because I had gone to see him mainly for the skin thinning concern. He said trust me, use it for two weeks. I eventually decided he was the professional and I would use it but only did 7 days, but now my genitals are completely thinned!!! They are saggy, red, itchy and I have also noticed that the skin all over my body has started to go the same way... ultra soft and thin, maybe from absorbtion of the ointment. What has happened to me? This seems permenant having now been 6 months! I see too many doctors just pass it off as nothing, but this is real and has affected my life dramatically for 6 months. Is there a way to add thickness back through surgery? Maybe platelet rich plasma? Please help!

splodge13, you had a journal or something for a good while that detailed your story.  How are things now?
Things are good thanks. It took 6 months to get out of the bad place I was in. 2 years later was much better. Now it's 5 years later. Mostly the same. Bit of loss of colour, little dry skin now and then, and a few wrinkles occasionally but mostly fine.

Thought I'd leave this for anyone else that might be looking answers to this problem as I am having this problem myself
HGH (human growth hormone) may be able to increase skin elasticity and thicken skin and a great way to increase this is by intermittent fasting here's where I found this out https://susarlapc.com/fasting-and-growth-hormones/#:~:text=Fasting%20causes%20HGH%20(human%20growth,Skin%20thickness%20even%20improves.

There are also other ways to increase HGH which you can find out about here

Also moisturise the area a lot and colegen supplements may help but there's no proof
