Another HUGE Teia break through!!!!!!!!

For those who have been following the Teia Saga over the past 9 4/12 years, this will bring a big smile.

Those of you new to Miss Teia, she is a 21 year old former feral who was not socialized, fully, to people until after we adopted her at age 12.

These pictures are of her, on 5 October and 7 October, getting ear scritches from our neighbor who is looking after the house and cats while we are gone a few days.

When we adopted her, Teia didn't much like people, as the folks who rescued her at age 2, did not socialize her, even to them.

We think Miss Teia is starting to "Sundown," getting a little forgetful about where she is.

We'll keep an eye on her, and act as she shows us we need to do.

Oh, poor girl.  I wonder if her sight or hearing has become less than it was.  That would make her feel confused.  Then again, it could be exactly what you say it is.   Does she sleep with you?

Know my thoughts are with you and Ms Teia daily, Pip.  Please give her some scritches from me.

Hugs to you~

p.s.  I most definitely checked this thread yesterday for any updates but I'm not seeing your post until tonight.  MH is having some trouble; maybe your post didn't show up right away.  Or maybe you posted after I took my final look last evening.  Who knows.

Sweet pics with Chris. :)
Teia still has many more good days than not so good. She has not passed a blot clot in her pee in almost 2 months.

And yes, I do think both her hearing and eye sight are dimming, the hearing more so. Got a nutritional supplement to see if she'll take that (it's a fish flavored gel).

I still sleep in the recliner chair at least once a week in case she wants to sleep on a people.

Also, I'm still hoping we can get her through next June, 10 good years with us. Only 39 more days to 9 1/2.

All in all, she's doing good for a kitty born in June 1997.
