I see this question is a month old, but I'll give it a shot anyway...
I often try to do the most stressful things on my list first thing in the morning when I'm freshest because then I'm more alert and open to doing things I don't really want to do. It gives me a sense of relief to go through the rest of the day, knowing that I've got those stressful things out of the way and don't have them staring me in the face all day.
