When did you first see your doctor after learning you are pregnant?
How far along were you when you first saw your doctor? Did you have a good experience at your first appointment?
My doctor's office makes the first appointment with pregnant mommies at 6 to 9 weeks. They do the doppler at that first appointment to hear the baby's heart beat which is, of course, very exciting. My first appointment for my first baby was funny because even though the baby's heart was clearly heard, it didn't sound like I thought it would. It was more of a swoosh sound. The doctor had to stand there for a long time until I was convinced that was really a heart beat. :>)
