Another thing to ask about is hernia besides the cyst. I'm glad the lump is not painful!
The cream was just an anistetic for the area. I was told originally to use sudocrem, but the second trip they told me not to use it and was prescribed the anisthetic. I will definitely try that though thank you, getting pretty desperate now. The lump doesn’t hurt, but swells up a lot more when I try and go. I will try and get another appointment for Monday and see what they say. Thank you again for your help.
Okay, I understand and don't blame you. You've done your best just to get an answer from doctors! So, try what I suggested. It is worth a shot. the cream they gave you . . . is it for healing or pain relief? (there is a cream that numbs). The go back to the doctor to check on the lump. That is not hurting, right? We can get cysts in that area.
Thank you for your help. A doctor looked last week and said there was a cut there, and blamed that on the pain when having a bowel movement. They’ve changed their mind so much I just feel that something still isn’t right as the pain is still is so bad it literally feels like something is stabbing me. I am just very concerned about the swelling and the lump.
That is very frustrating! Sorry to hear. You are talking about a bowel movement when you say going to the toilet? Not urinating, right? Have them check your Bartholin gland which can get a cyst that you may be describing with the lump. Tears in this area ARE hard to heal for obvious reasons. So, what about treating it like child birth? Women get quite bad tears around the vagina and it is recommended that they often suggest to ty this: alternate every time you go to the bathroom between dapping on Prep H to the area and then next time you go to the bathroom, use a tucks wipe and leave it in your underwear. That helps heal any cuts in that tender area. A squirt bottle with warm or room temp water can be used as you to the bathroom if it is hurting as anything touches the cuts. Are they actually seeing a cut or just guessing because of your pain?
