My wish this Christmas is that a miracle happens, and my husband will able to walk again.  I think most of you here know the story behind it.  

I hope Santa brings every desire you wish for.

I would like to get my head together about sorting an apparent lifetime's worth of junk. It weighs me down. I think it means talking to a counselor, not just cleaning, but the cleaning is starting next week. My sister is coming to town to help. That's the serious one.

Not so serious? I'd like a strand of ten-millimeter Mikimoto pearls with the little diamond on the clasp that signifies that they are AAA grade. Cost new would be the cost of a nice new car, probably. Even sold by a re-seller, they'd be the price of a good used car. And the irony would be, I wouldn't have anywhere to wear them. Not going to happen! I just like the look.
