Why is my young Male cat thin
2 year old Male cat is very thin eating not only his food but dogs food also. No excessive drinking/abnormal bowel or urine sessions no worms. Just seems hungry and thin.
I would re-check for worms. They aren't always visible in the stool. Has your vet run tests?

It sounds like your kitty might be hyperthyroid. It would be ideal if you could get him tested as soon as possible!

p.s. Please discourage your kitty from eating the dog food. It doesn't have the vitamins in it a cat needs, specifically Taurine. Feed dog and cat in separate rooms if you have to.
