Genital warts, herpes or something else?

Hi, I had unprotected sex several months ago and have recently noticed that there were some abnormal bumps on my vulva. They are skin-colored, cluster in a group and cause a lot of pain and itching. My doctor said that these could be herpes and prescribed me an ointment but it seems to be not working. The bumps are getting worse and I feel like they are growing bigger day by day. What could it be?

I have had this for about 3 weeks. Another doctor I came to yesterday have confirmed that the bumps I had were definitely genital warts. I've done a lot of research and felt like my sex life is over.

It sounds like genital warts to me and Vidarox can be effective for removing them and reducing pain and itching. Treatment may take weeks or months, depending on sizes of your warts. And remember not to have sex until they are gone. Genital warts can spread to your partner through intercourse.

Im no doc but this doesn't sound like herpes and as far as I know they do not prescribe ointment for herpes either ..How long have you had the bumps? If your worried I would visit a sexual health clinic
