I would really appreciate willing to share their experience.

I  was diagnosed with a 5 cm petro-clinoid meningioma and wanted to reach out to the forum to hear of anyone experiences with a similar tumor.  The tumor invades and expands the right cavernous sinus and completely encasing and narrowing the cavernous right internal carotid artery.  It extends medially to the sella/suprasellar cistern, inseparable from the pituitary gland.  The pituitary stalk is deviated to the left.  Superior displacement of the right greater then left opic nerves/chiasm/tracts.  I have very mind symptoms (headaches, hearing loss, numbness of face, arm, leg and head of right side).  I've seen two neurosurgeons who advice me to wait and watch for 6 months.

Gosh, I'm very sorry to hear that.  Are they trying to see if it grows?  It's already causing issues. Is there a chance it could shrink on it's own?  I guess I'm just not sure what the watch and see if about as it does more damage if it grows.  So, you will lose your pituitary gland with this? You would then be on hormone replacement therapy for the duration after.  Just trying to understand the implications of taking the tumor out.
