What might cause several months of bloody diarrhea?
My husband age 58 does not smoke or drink has had loose bloody(red) diarrhea on and off for several months. He also still does not feel 100% He cut caffeine and it had helped but still has diarrhea and no blood. It does appear to be getting somewhat better.
Ulcerative colitis can cause this. Has he gone to the doctor for this yet? I would suggest he do this as soon as possible!
