Left Armpit pain, tenderness, left breast, left side pain

Since last year I have had pain in my left armpit and side of left breast. The pain will travel around my back and down my arm, left side as well. Last year mammo was fine. I had ACDF surgery on 2 discs in my neck 4-5 and 5-6 in April...helped with some arm numbness but armpit pain remains. Nerve series normal and latest MRI of cervical area normal. According to dr. surgery was successful.
If clothing rubs against my armpit it will trigger this pain. If I push on it, it will trigger it as well. Some days good, most I am sore and uncomfortable.
Left arm seems heavier than right. I'm always aware or this feeling.
Not sure where to go...having a diagnostic Mammo next week just to r/o anything
Neurosurgeon says pain is unexplained....go to pain mgt who wants to do nerve ablation.
Not sure where to go??

That's a complicated situation!  I'm sorry you are having this pain with no answers.  You've done due diligence in being evaluated.  Your neuro doesn't have an explanation and you are ruling out any issue with breast which is good. Is it surface or within the armpit-- deep.  Nothing related to a lymph node I take it? And you've already seen a pain specialist who feels ablation is best?  It sounds like you've gotten medical care for it but you are not feeling confident in what they propose to solve it?
