for a while, i've had really bad headaches —— though, it didn't start out as a headache. i've always had problems at the base of my head and around my neck. it started out as just a feeling of numbness. i used to explain it as my brain just felt mushy. my doctor had told me tension headaches and with my past history of seizures, was thinking that it could be a form of absence seizures, with my other symptoms. she had recommended i go to a neurologist. i haven't had the money to go back to her, let alone go to a neurologist. anyway, that feeling of numbness has mustered into sincere, extremely bad headaches. they always come in waves and always at the base of my head, often tensing up my neck. ( as bad as it is, every time one comes on i have to end up popping my neck just to make it go away. ) they're not constant, but they might as well be. it's gotten to the point that i can't laugh or strain in the slightest ( bend down, lift something heavy, laugh, cough, etc ) without it bringing about this huge wave of a headache. it's often so bad that it will either give me hot flashes, make me dizzy, make me tear up or drop me to the ground all together.
any ideas or answers will help ! i just don't know what to do at this point or what to even begin thinking that it is. thank you !
