Brain MRI Results

My MRI results read as follow.  What does the result mean?
Multiple fine T2 and FLAIR hyperintense foci in periventricular and cerebral white matter suggestive of small vessel ischemic zone.
No sign of acute ischemia on DW images

Hi alvok8

I'm sorry no one has responded to your question yet, i've been off line for a couple of weeks and i've only just had the opportunity to log on, it's summer over my side of the world (Australia)....

From what i understand your brain MRI results are saying the tiny-fine lesions that have shown up in the periventricular and cerebral white matter are suggestive-consistent with ischaemic small vessel disease, which could well be within normal limits depending on your age group and or medical history.

Hope that helps......JJ
