Am I hepatitis B negative?

Have taken hbsag test for hepatitis B at 8 months after the possible exposure and the result is non-reactive. Should I consider it conclusively negatives? Means I have no hepatitis B? Pls help thanks

Why do think it’s Hepatitis? Have you had a high risk exposure?

It was unprotected vaginal sex. Saw a doctor last evening, he said hbsag and  anti hcv negative is conclusive at 8 months post exposure. And elevated ALT could be due to antibiotics  I took recently for 7 days. He asked me to retest again for alt after a month. Also he said 'theres nothing to worry about, forget about hep b n c, you don't have it'.

Yeah I would consider a neg 8 months after exposure pretty conclusive

I just got my alt ast report. Ast is normal but alt is high (96). Since my hbsag is negative, could this elevation could still be due to hepatitis? I also recently got myself tested for hep c. Anti hcv test which is negative.
