Severe weight loss, poor absorption of nutrients and increased bowel movements.

Welp, I've been in a 2 years battle against weight loss, increase in evacuation frequency, pencil-thin shaped stool and recurrent foamy diarrhea stages, which cause some severe burning/inflammation of rectum/colon.
Those symptoms come and go and are not accompanied by any other symptoms like fever or stomach/intestine pain.

Except some arrhythmia at night and some irritability, which I control and it works wonders with:
Avena sativa D1 - 0,250 g
Passiflora alata D1 - 0,333 g
Valeriana officinalis D1 - 0,050

I think the mood and heart racing might be from the poor mood and frustration I've been dealing with constantly.

I just can't help it, no matter what I eat. Be it healthy or junk. I have even introduced oatmeal and reintroduced milk in my diet, because I was losing too much weight and all my clothes. I can keep my weight now, but I have to consume overwhelming amounts of food and calories or risk losing it all in one week of discharge and consumption according to my appetite.

However, this time I had some red eye soreness and I also found a worm in my last evacuation. It was very thin one and it could move even after being severed in half. Surprisingly, last year I've been in&out of physicians and specialists like hematologist, endocrinologist and otolaryngologist with several blood, urine and stool sample tests that have 0 signs of bacteria or worms. I still have the results just in case. Let me know if you guys would like to take a look at it. AFAIK, the warning signs were high cholesterol/triglycerides levels that were taken care of with a change in my diet. No soda, no margarine, less cheese and more whole grains.

I took the worm to my physician and he appointed me to a gastroenterologist, since it is the only one I couldn't attend yet. I'll try to update once I attend it.

Could you give me any leads? Is there any recognizable pattern in here that you identify? Please, it is taking its toll at my mental health. I need to at least know what is affecting me.

I'm scheduled for biopsy and endo. He prescribed zentel, which I read is a little bit better regarding  side and effects. But I'm going to check blood first regarding my liver     toxicity levels. I heard from another doctor last year they were kinda stressed.

Also I'm going to check if I became allergic to pepper. Just need to test some stuff.

I'm sorry you are so frustrated.

He may have been asking about pets, especially cats, because he may have thought that you had toxoplasmosis. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/toxoplasmosis/symptoms-causes/syc-20356249

I don't know why he would have asked about men in your life, to be honest. Maybe someone else here knows that.

What medication did he give you?

I'm glad he's going to do the endo and the biopsy.

I just got back from my gastroenterologist. It is so frustrating. They downplay everything. You are not sick, he doesn't even examined me yet. Asking several personal questions, instead of asking questions a gastro should ask, like when was your last exam? What was the results. Do you have it with you?

Instead is: Do you have a cat? You prefer cats or dogs? Haha nice, me too. You have a father, a son? Ok doctor, can we focus here, I'm really worried about my health. Can you help me?
Are you nervous? Relax, it's nothing. Why you nervous? Please relax again.

Ok doc, I'm not nervous and I'm relaxed. Can you please get back to the start and actually focus on solving my issue? "Ok, fine if you insist".

I literally shown him a video of the worm moving. Ohhh it's just a worm, nothing to worry take this medicine, everyone has it. Just take it.

Don't ask for blood samples, don't ask me to return. It is surreal, it is borderline insane. Acting all cool about it BTW, like it is nothing.

I had to ask for a blood sample and insist in scheduling the return so we can check I still have the worms. I had to actually demand him to give me a endoscopy and biopsy exam recommendation, cause he wouldn't give a damn. WTF are doctors today? It came to the point we need to record them working to make sure they are not killing you in the way.

I'm really looking forward for someone having the same symptoms, but weight loss is so rare that is really difficult.

Yeah I need to check that, but all the other symptoms seems so weird for Fibro. I checked someone who has access to some Kefir and will try to acquire some chicory roots.

Problem is my doctors check my complaints about anxiety before and try all the time to put me under psychological counselling and suggesting prozac style treatments not even being specialists. It angers me to a point I can't even describe. Every single doctor today is trying to hook you on meds as if you are some sort of cuckoo.

I understand you frustrations, it does seem like the physicians tag a person as "anxiety" if they don't know what is wrong.  Gosh, it can be so many things from blood sugar disorders to more severe issues. I hate prozac, I never recommend asking for it , too many side effects and it doesn't cure the problem, it only mask them.

I highly suggest seeing a reputable Natuorpathic physician, those were my main doctors when I lived back home in the states. They take time to listen to you, order tests that conventional medicine does not even know about at times, and then will really work with you, they will NOT tell you it is anxiety unless they have exhausted all other venues. They will also give you a good list of supplements to take a a reasonable diet to follow.

Nothing makes me angrier than for a doctor to say it is in head and that I need to see a psych, bull, just a cop-out.

I hope you get the "right" kind of hope soon. Keep us posted.

Hello, I am so sorry you are experiencing all this pain and trouble.

Have you asked your doctor about the possibility of it being Irritable Bowel Syndrome? Has the Gastro suggested a colonoscopy? Have you had any test for parasites? Also, I know this may sound weird, but have any of them suggested Fibromyalgia. You have mentioned pain in certain areas in your body, sometimes this can cause issues with digestion and bowel function as well.

In the meantime, try adding a good, strong probiotic to your diet, this will help in keeping the "friendly" bacteria in your gut. I hope you feel better soon and that you get some answers.

So, I got to the ER and the medic there prescribed Nitazoxanida(500mg) and Saccharomyces Boulardii.

I ingested it during meals, but the reaction to it was super strong. First night I got stomach cramps, racing heartbeat, increased sweating. I took it during the day again 12h later and nothing major besides some chest discomfort. Next night after having dinner and ingesting it, I waited a little and went sleeping. Problem is the reaction got worse like extreme pain in my shoulder joint, like if it was out of place. I got extreme sharp pain when moving it, alongside with numbness in my leg and the previous symptoms. I got so scared I decided to stop taking it and will wait for my appointments. For now I'm not going to do anything, but I'm scared because I'm getting short breath during the day. WTF is going on?

If you have a parasitic worm, that could explain a lot of your symptoms - https://www.healthline.com/health/intestinal-worms#symptoms

I don't know enough about it to know if it would also show in your stool, though. Talk to your gastro about it, and go from there.

Other things could be Crohn's or ulcerative colitis, but you don't have all the symptoms of those.

Good luck, and let us know what happens!
