Just learned 3 months ago my adult son is on Crystal Meth

I have seen him my self out of his mind paranoid and he quit a $30 an hour job because of his paranoia.  He won’t agree To go for rehabilitation and I know I can’t enable him.  What else can I do before I get a call or a knock at the door informing me of my Son’s death?

My daughter has been clean for 6 1/2 yrs.  She went to a faith based program for one year. She graduated 5 1/2 years ago.
By the grace of God she is doing awesome.
As long as there is breathe there is hope.

I was reading some of your comments and my heart just goes out to you. I had some horrific situations going on with my 31 year old son. So I feel your pain. If you get this comment and you respond back I'll tell you a little bit about it. Please let us know if you and your son is okay. Just thinking about the both of you. Thank You for your encouragement.  My son thinks he is Jesus’s second Son one day then the next think he is God.  I truly believe this Meth woke up some Mental Illness that runs in my Family.  At this point he does not trust both of his parents and stopped communicating with us.
I pray for your Son as well.  There is no greater pain I have ever felt.

Hello and welcome. I'm sorry you're going through this. You are not alone. I have been there with  my 21 yr. old daugjter. and also with my husband. Different drug of choice
Keep the faith. As long as he has breath there is always hope.

Yes he lives on his own and just took out his money from his 401k.  I tried calling the police for a 5150 hold because he sent me text messages saying he will hurt people and destroy property.  The police said they can’t do anything until he does.  My hands are tied and I can do anything to help him before something tragic happens.

i understand all the emotions that you are feeling. the frustration, helplessness, sadness, fear, worry  that go along with it.  
does he have a significant other?  
you can look for a support group for you to have others to talk to in real life.

I’m out of the Country right now with my Sister.  He sends me text messages  saying I’m really someone else and just off the wall things he comes up with. Sometimes I just don’t text back if he is raging.
