Should I still have pain 4 weeks after ovary removal?

I had a hysterectomy in 1999 but they left 1 ovary because I a only 30 yrs old. Now 20 years later I had to go in and get my rt ovary removed due to a baseball sized cyst. I'm 4 weeks post op, and I'm still cramping severely we the ovary and cyst were. Is this normal?

I am sorry you are going through this. At 4 weeks post-op, some minor pain or discomfort would be normal but I wouldn't think you should be experiencing "severe cramping". You may want to call your doctor.
