AVN core decompression for femoral head

My wife aged 45 under went ‘ femoral head decompression with BMC’ almost six moth back, her AVN stages were 1 in left and 2 in right, even after six months she still have pain on side slightly limping. Now in X-ray shows 4 cavities on right and one on left. One doctor was saying it was useless doing the surgery. Could anyone can help please.

I do hope it wasn't useless to have the surgery but I would question that doctor about what is next if they feel that way. There are other treatment options.  And it's very important to find the core cause of why it is happening to begin with.  Have you all been able to determine that?
