Why do I sometimes have thick bowel movements w/o knowing it has passed

I had the gastric sleeve in  April 2017.  Since then I have a lot of thick bowel movements, sometimes they pass without my knowledge, meaning I don't feel it until I go to the bathroom.  What is possibly causing this?  I don't have any other health issues.

Hi.  So, trying to understand what is happening.  You mean you don't feel the bowel movement until it is happening?
