Can chronic hep c effect your stomach?

For the past couple of months I've been experiencing frequent stomach aches, nausea, and vomiting. I have been diagnosed with hep c for about 3years now. I could only afford one month of the medicine but haven't been in a financial place to get the last 2 month supply. I'm just wondering if all my stomach problems could be a cause from the hep c?

It kind of depends if you have advanced liver disease like cirrhosis nausea can be a symptom. You would be best to see your doctor to determine the cause of your symptoms. Many things can cause the symptoms you list including anxiety or a change in diet. The only way to know is to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis.

Are you in the US? Do you have medical insurance? If you can get medical coverage the manufacture of the medicine offers copay assistance so you may only have to pay $5 per refill.

Also you can try googling fix hep c they have information about how to aquire medicines at reduced costs.

Which medicine has your doctor recommended? Were you evaluated to see if you have liver damage? What is your genotype of hep c? Your genotype will determine what is the best treatment for you. Some treatments are 12 weeks and one pill a day. Some can involve more pills daily and some treatments can be as short as 8 weeks.

Best of luck
