It’s normal to be a bit stressed about the changes that are happening in your life and to your body. If you’re only feeling stressed once in a while, it’s unlikely to cause problems for your baby.

Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums.  Thank you for your question.  Most people have some level of stress and especially when their body and life are undergoing the changes of pregnancy. Learning ways to cope and destress are important.  However, extreme stress can alter hormones including cortisol which has been linked to birth defects in animals (which would translate loosely to human pregnancy).  So, if you are extremely stress and not coping at all, please do speak to your doctor.

A lot!  The effects of stress can be catastrophic for both the mother and the baby
and possibly more severe if unborn.
Take yoga!  Prenatal yoga or  postnatal ( yoga for mom and baby )
Eat healthy, breath well (yes, you need to! Visit the Normal Breathing website for details).
Stay away from toxic people and junk food.
Get some exercise / activity everyday! A brisk walk daily will do you good.
Meditate! Search for free meditation videos on YouTube.
Best wishes,
Niko

Hi,
Great advice. Yoga is the best way to get rid of stress. It is also good for health during pregnancy.
Thanks.
This recommendation could be useful not only for pregnant but to anyone at any time! Great!
As I know myself, nerves affect all the body badly, psychosomatics are real and not a joke at all.
Though, yeah, future moms have to care about health twice more patient.
