how did my wife get trich when we are both monogamous for 24 years 100per cent

she thinks I have had sex with someone else. I have not.and neither has she. she has issued divorce proceedings against me because of this.i just want to know how this could have happened to her.there must be a nonsexual transmission route. what is the latest  evidence for this?we are both 57 we have 3 girls  aged 19,22 and 26 all sexually active

How was she tested for trich? Have either of you been in a hot tub?

This was once thought to be only sexually transmitted. This may not be the case.

It's rare to get it without sexual contact, but it is possible. It's also possible that she had a false positive test.

I'm sorry she skipped right to divorce proceedings.
