With astigmatism it often takes the eye several weeks to adjust to the glasses so a 'fair trail' would be minimum of wearing glasses 3 weeks. With astigmatism which first wearing the glasses they may seem blurred, uncomfortable or things might lean.     Lasik or the new SMILE procedure involve risk and expense not associated with glasses.
