Has anyone here been prescribed Belbuca for pain?

I have been on oxycodone 15mg. Four times a day for four years. I am in such a horrible trap. I thought by switching to Belbuca I could manage the pain with less side effects, as this is what I have been told. Any comments/insight on the differences in Belbuca and Oxycodone, I would love to hear from you. Thank you

I believe this is a form of suboxone.   Are you going to need pain relief for along time?  Coming off those types of meds are very tough, much tougher than oxys.

I have the feeling I am in for pain meds for a good long time.. is the reason it is harder to get off of something like Belbuca because it is a 12-hour pain reliever vs shorter pain relief such as with oxycodone? Thank you for your response

All based on pharmacology. It has to do with the half life of each medication. it is the amount of medication in the blood serum. The % of and how fast it is processed and eliminated from the body.
Buprenorphine has a longer half life tgan oxycodone.
