Call back for a second mammogram

I am 44 almost 45.  I had a 3D mammogram on Monday.  Today, Friday at 4pm I got a call back and they said they needed more pictures and an ultrasound as their was a change in my right breast.
I am afraid.  What should I expect now?  What outcomes have others had?

Two yrs ago, the same thing happened to me.  I was called back for a 2nd mammo and ultrasound.  After that, an appt was made for a breast MRI.  It is only natural to be frightened, and while yes, it alarmed me some, I was determined to stay calm until there was really something to worry about.  Turned out, there wasn't.  It was all due to dense breast tissue.

Let us know the outcome.  Good luck!

Ok.  I will try to stay calm.  The report said they saw a change from the previous year.  Not sure what that means.
My report said the same.  Like I said, my breast tissue is dense making it difficult for the mammogram and even the ultrasound to read.  Have you ever been told you have dense breast tissue?  It's very common.

I recently had a callback, and it was because a saline cyst (visible in my mammogram a year ago) had gotten smaller. Don't borrow trouble, there is little enough point in worrying until you have something to worry about. :)
