Does this look like herpes scars?

I’ve been getting open sores of and on. No others symptoms. Two side ones were a little painful. Pic is on profile.

It looks like they disabled your pic, as the site doesn't allow genital pics.

Sores on your genitals can be herpes. Have you had your doctor look at it? You really should. Ask them to culture it (especially if it's a new sore) or preferably do a PCR swab. Make sure they type it so you can find out if you have type 1 or 2 genitally.

Sores can also be caused by other things, so you really need to be seen by a doctor to know for sure. No one - even a doctor - can tell by looking at a pic online. Make them culture it to know for sure.

You can also ask for a type specific IgG blood test, which will tell you if you have type 1, type 2 or both. It won't tell you if these sores are herpes, but it will tell you if you have herpes antibodies. It can take up to 4 months to show positive, so if it's been less than that, you may have to retest.

Let us know what happens.
