Birth Control While Traveling? Is the time difference going to play a factor?

i have started taking the combination pill (currently 3 pills in) and in two weeks i have to travel to a different time zone. I take my pill at 9am, but my destination is 7 hours behind. so when i get there, i will have to take my pill at 2am, but i would prefer to take it at 9am as i usually do. what can i do about this? once i have reached my destination, can i just take one pill before going to sleep (11pm-ish) and then one in the morning at 9, and keep taking my pills at that same time? thank you

Is there any way you can ease into a schedule?  I'm sure it's not important that you take it at exactly the same time every day, but as close as possible is best.  You can do it your way, and it probably won't make a difference, but you might want to use extra protection if you're trying to prevent pregnancy.
