tingly and prickly feeling

i have been having a tingling sensation in my left arm for years now went to see a doctor in october last year, did a test and was told that i have calcium deficiency i have been taking calcium supplements since then its now almost a year since i started taking supplements but i still feel the tingly sensation though not as intense as before. of recent i have been having prickly feelings on my back mostly at night or early morning my questions are why hasnt the tingly feeling stopped completely and what is causing the prickly feeling on my back and what can i take

Hello~We are not doctors here, we can only give suggestions and share experiences.

I am not sure why the Calcium hasn't stopped the tingling, I suggest asking your doctor again or seeing another one if you do not get satisfactory help. It may be another type of vitamin deficiency such as the "B" vitamins, that can also cause tingling. I would ask your doctor to do a Vitamin B12 blood test and also one for Folate acid, I know if deficient in these two, tingling can occur.
