Can fish oil tablets decrease my cholestrol levels?

I have been reading information that fish oil can decrease cholesterol levels, I tried
taking them once and I showed a decrease but stopped taking them because I had
become concern over another health issue.

Hello and thank you for the question.  Always speak to your doctor before starting or stopping any supplements. They are your best source of information.  Fish oil is used for various health related areas.  Omega 3 fish oil is the most common type. You can take in supplement form but also can get the benefits through your diet. Fish oil is particularly good for the part of cholesterol called triglycerides.
