However, your issue is with latex specifically. A latex allergy in and of itself is not common with less than 1% of the general population having a latex allergy. It's really important for you to know and inform others of this allergy as about 50% of all medical devices contain latex! Repatha specifically says to not use if you have a latex allergy but Praluent does not. I understand your trepidation at this point in using it, but would also trust your doctor to have your best interest in mind and not prescribe something that would presumably cause an allergic reaction for you.
