On 4/18 right ankle paralyzed 5/18 left ankle any ideas?

I started to get up for the day. It was a regular morning. Except my right leg was bent like I was sitting in a chair. I laid back down and began trying to stretch it out. After approximately 45 minutes I was able to get everything to move except my ankle which was now stuck in a downward position. I have had some weird symptoms through the years. I have a diagnosis of MS, fibromyalgia and Dysautonomia. So, I didn't rush to the dr. thinking it might be drop foot. Fast forward to the end of May 2018. My left leg did the exact same routine. Since then both ankles are locked in a downward position. No swelling, bruising or pain. I've seen my pcm, orthopedist and ortho surgeon and a neurologist. I can only walk for a few steps with assistance. Otherwise I use a chair because my balance is now horrible as well. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Boston, it seems possible that what causes this has been mistaken for MS and fibro previously. Take a look here:

Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease

Maybe your neurologist  considered but dismissed that, because you have a somewhat atypical variant?

Contractures and balance are included.

Thank you I will check it out and ask my different doc's if I've been tested for it.

If you have MS it could be an episode of a flare up of symptoms. Have you asked the drs if it’s related to your known medical conditions?

Sorry I thought I'd be notified of responses. All my drs are aware. They all seem as stumped as I am. Thanks
