Is it possible to get pregnant from precum and fingering?

Hi! I am really paranoid and anxious. 3 weeks ago, my bf and I didn’t have sex, but he did finger me and briefly grinded naked against me. However, I was wearing cotton underwear the whole time and never took it off. And he never came on my underwear. I’m worried because before he fingers me, I always make sure he applies rubbing alcohol first, but there was this one time where he touched his **** for a short time then proceeded to finger me. I also can’t remember if he wiped, but he said he doesn’t think he had precum on his fingers.

Now last week my period was unusually light. It came when it was supposed to, lasted the same, but it was light. Day 1, I had brown gooey blood that later became red the next day and the days after that. I bled through pads last week, but it wasn’t like the usual gush of blood every few hours that required me to change in the afternoon :( I have been exercising a lot 2x a week cause of PE workouts, maybe also quite stressed. Should I be concerned or should I test?

Hi! There was no itching or anything alongside the EWCM during that period. Sometimes I do experience itching on certain days, but not the kind that occurs for days or causes discomfort or anything. I really think my skin down there got irritated or something.

Hello booksandoceans.

I'm not quite sure what exactly you're describing - it would be hard to tell blood tinged ewcm from the regular menstrual blood.

Do you have any other concerns - itching,  etc.?

Hi! I just want to ask since I forgot to last time. In my last cycle (the one with the unusually light period I mentioned before), is it normal to experience ewcm tinged with blood during and towards the end of your period? I was thinking it was maybe that my period was really light that the discharge didn’t pass through looking like blood, but not sure:( Thank you and sorry for all the questions. I come from a country that looks down on this stuff so people arent really open to talk about it here

Hi! Thank you so much for the reassuring response. Sometimes I have terrible anxiety which makes me spiral and let all facts fly out the window  :( I guess I was really shocked since I haven’t had a light or weird period since I was 12 (I’m 19 now). But yes maybe it’s the exhausting exercise and stress from midterms at school.

I am not on any birth control pill since it might mess up my regular periods or something. :( My bf and I used condoms + withdrawal when we last did it 3 months ago on my safe days.

But thank you again for the response, i appreciate it really !

Using birth control pills is an absolutely personal decision that you should make alone or with your doctor, but they won't mess up your regular periods. Lots of women go on it to regulate their periods, or to lighten them if they have heavy ones,

Again, totally your decision, and whatever decision you make for you is the correct one. I just want to make sure you have the correct info to base that decision on. :)

Good luck on midterms!

No, this isn't possible. You also had a period, which means you aren't pregnant.

Some months, your period won't be like other periods. That's normal. It can be affected by so many things - stress, exercise, your overall health, fatigue, and so much more.

Since you're starting to be sexually active, have you and your bf talked about birth control? Now is the time to talk about it, so you'll be ready if you and he get to that point. There are lots of options, including condoms, which are the only way to prevent sexually transmitted infections.
