Moving ball of light in peripheral vision

I have this moving ball/bead/orb of light that moves up or down in my peripheral vision in both eyes. No simulation and seems to happen at random, some days more than the other. Retinal specialist who examined me 10 days ago said eyes and nerves looked good no issues. Could it be dry eyes? or computer vision related? or neurological? This has been happening for 3-4 weeks a lot more and very rarely since the past 9 months.

I have seen similar posts here. Has anyone gone on to find out what it actually was?

It could be any of those. If you live in a large metropolitan city with full range of ophthalmology consultants I suggest you see a neuro-ophthalmologist.

I consulted one in August and they dismissed it too.
