Does ageing affect the success of plastic surgery?

I am a 50-year-old homemaker living in Mississauga. Two years before, I met with an accident. My face got injured. So I have accident marks on my face. It adversely affects my physical appearance. I am thinking to go for plastic surgery. I did a lot of research on the Internet, and I found a plastic surgeon in Mississauga. Does anyone have any prior experience with them? Does ageing affect the success of plastic surgery? What will be the side effects? Kindly share your views on this.

Hi.  Sorry about your accident!  Anything to the face is traumatic and I know since I'm around your age that any injury can take a long time to heal.  I don't know doctors in your area.  I think I'd make sure they are part of the societies for plastic surgeons.  Like the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. There are others too.  You also can use one of the doctors rating sites like Vitals or Healthgrades. https://www.webmd.com/beauty/choosing_right_cosmetic_surgeon#1  What exactly are you looking to have done through the surgery? Age does change our face.  I think that having surgery is viable but know that in say 10 years, it might look a bit different due to the aging process.  The elasticity of our skin changes a bit and every person reacts differently to surgery. But older ladies and much older than 50 get facial plastic surgery all the time with success.  I think they will likely want to make sure you are overall healthy before the surgery but you shouldn't have any problem getting surgery on the face at 50!
