Is it true that antibiotics can make birth control stop working?
I am taking Macropen (midecamycin) for sore throat. And I'm taking yaz.

Most commonly prescribed antibiotics will not interfere with the efficacy of hormonal birth control pills. One exception is rifampin, a drug used to treat tuberculosis.
