I ate smoked fish that was older than I thought it was; should I be extra concerned?

I though I was eating smoked fish that was a week old.  Taking to my mom on the phone, I realize it's three weeks old.  Immediately after eating it, I'm feeling light headed/shaky/vertigo.  I took a shot of vinegar and honey and had a banana after I realized that (don't know if that'll do anything).  The lightheadedness could be due to the cold I have right now and congestion/only having caffine and yogurt until 2pm.  Should I expect normal food poisoning and just monitoring symptoms, or should I be calling a doctor?

It's not certain that you will experience any problems.  Usually, when fish products spoil, there's a pretty distinct odor that would make it difficult for you to eat.  That doesn't mean it was or was not starting to spoil.  What I'd do is just wait - by now, if you were going to get sick, you would be sick already.  Food poisoning doesn't take very long to start creating symptoms.  If you experience excessive vomiting or diarrhea, it would certainly warrant a visit to the doctor to rule out bacterial infections and to ensure you don't get dehydrated.
