What could cause high core heat in your lower stomach and vagina area?

I've recently started feeling extremely hot in my lower abdomen, tops of my thighs, lower back and vaginal area.  I am 49 years old and have had my bloods done for peri-menopause which came back negative.  It feels like i'm a little oven!

Do you have any discharge?  I'm wondering about an infection in your pelvic area.  Here is an article on something that is fairly rare called pelvic congestion syndrome.  https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/news/publications/johns_hopkins_health/fall_2010/_medical_mysteries  They describe it as a 'heat' or burning sensation as a symptom in the pelvic area.  Does this look at all familiar?

Do you have any other symptoms that would suggest it is gastro-intestinal in origin? Or is it just feeling hot?

Have you had your thyroid checked?
