Father ill in hospital, not responding?

Hello all

Not sure if anyone can advise? My father in hia 70s was taken to hospital last night after throwing up and talking non sense and now he is unresponsive and not responding. He will open his eyes if you say his name but thats it. They have scanned him for everything stroke etc and all his vitas are good and have no idea whats wrong? He is groaning at times but thats it.

He has fibrosis and just started to take steroids to help his appetite.

While they do not know, can anyone say what it could possibly be at all?

Very worried.

I am really sorry to read this.  I'm sure this is very scary.  He's not really very old at 70.  Health issues prior?  The big question, has he been tested for covid? What is his oxygen levels?

Even though he has fibrosis, turns out he had a massive stroke. He is not really responding anymore. Unconcious.

Very strange as he started to throw up and lost conciousness and started to talk non sense before losing conciousness. Then after a few hours in hospital he was ok and joking and taking to staff. Then started to throw up again and went back to being unconcious and has been this way now again for 24 hours.
That's so hard.  Any update?  70 is young.  I"m very sorry this happened.
