Just for fun. How would you break up with yourself?

I saw this and thought it was kind of interesting.  What would you say to yourself to break it off?  We might learn something about each other.  I'll start.

So, honey, you have meant a lot to me.  You are always there for me even when I need my space.  You are a little obsessed with me, actually.  Always bugging me about how I look, what I eat, and I think we've just grown apart.

You mean well, but having to organize the dishwasher a specific way or the pantry is in direct contrast to the disarray you keep the laundry room and your vehicle.  This makes you hard to understand.

You also tend to be a little hyper critical.  Always reminding me what I can do better.  That sure gets old.

I've enjoyed our time together, but am interested in seeing what I'm like without your hovering presence.

I don't know how I'd break up with myself, but my preferred way to be broken up with by someone else would be a plain statement of fact. Back when I was dating, I had a few boyfriends who basically didn't tell me that for them it was over (when it was), until well after I had looked foolish by thinking and talking like it wasn't over. (They could have saved me the looking-foolish part by just being plainspoken and saying they didn't feel it anymore.) Maybe they were afraid to hurt my feelings, and maybe they were afraid I'd be mad,  I don't know. Maybe they just didn't know how to say, "Sweetheart, I'm sorry, but for me the thrill is gone." It would have been nice if they could have been that clear. lol

I think it is natural to not like someone just ditching us or acting strange when it's over.  I'm not made of wood, I've got feelings.

I'm thinking my fun question must not have been that fun for anyone other than me.  lol  That's okay.  I'm half loopy until my kids start school!

Is this too odd of a question?  I don't know why I thought it was fun. Frankly, sometimes I get sick of myself and WISH I COULD break up and get back together later . . .

Or I could do what I did in my 20's and just disappear.

What are you going to say to YOUR self during break up.

(like I said, just for fun and not serious).
