I had sex with two guys within 5 days of each other, who could be the father?

I had sex with two guys during the week of my ovulation, I didn’t realize this was my week of ovulation until I looked at the dates. I had sex with guy 1 on Sept. 25th and then had sex with guy 2 on Sept. 30th.

I had an early ultrasound at 6w and 1d that said my due date was June 23rd, which would mean I ovulated on Sept. 30th.

Is there anyway I could’ve gotten pregnant from guy 1, since it was 5 days before my ovulation, could the sperm have been waiting for the egg?

I know the only way to know for sure is a paternity test but I would really appreciate some outside opinions on who could possibly be the father. Thank you.

Was the sex unprotected with both guys? Also, do you know the baby's gender yet? Just by the dates alone, the baby is more likely to be from the sex on the 30th (especially if the baby is a boy), but there really is no way to be sure until you do a DNA test.

Yes it was unprotected with both. And I haven’t found out the gender yet... I’m still in denial that the baby could be from the 30th :/ I just hope some miracle happens and it’s not. Thanks for responding.

Well, it cannot be said that the first guy is absolutely not the father, even though the second guy has stronger odds given the data you've described.

Some things to consider:
- This baby is still from your genes, no matter who contributed the other half.
- If you are merely disappointed in who the father might be (instead of actually in a possible legal bind because the first guy is your husband and the second guy is your boyfriend), frankly, who a child's father is says nothing about who your child will be. Your child will be his or her own person.
- There are women suffering from infertility who would gladly have a baby even if they never were able to learn who is the father. If you want to plumb the depths of human misery, talk to a woman who can't have a baby who wants one.
- If you are in the difficult position that the first guy is your husband, and if you do learn that the second guy is the father, your life will not be over. You will still love your baby and your baby will still be a miracle, and you will figure out how to go ahead and have a good life.

Please write back when you learn the gender. If you want the first guy to be the father, the gender to hope for is a girl. It wouldn't be a guarantee the first guy is the dad, but it would be a hint.

Yes, I saw it and gave you a long answer. Is there any way you can afford a prenatal DNA test? They are costly, but it helps a lot to know when you're worried (like now) and not have to wait.
