I had a uti took antibiotics but had sex a week later and it feels like it came back. What should I do and how long should I wait to have sex after antibiotics?
If you hadn't completed the antibiotic regimen you weren't done yet. Antibiotics don't always cure a UTI. Sometimes antibiotics do cure a UTI but kill off the organisms that protect you from them and you get recurrent infections. Sex partners can pass infections back and forth. As for detailed instructions like you're asking for, that's a question for your doctor, I would think.
